Understand the purpose of checks
AML means anti-money laundering: measures intended to address money connected with crime. KYC means Know Your Customer and concerns identifying a customer. Customer due diligence can also include understanding an account's purpose, payment activity and, where needed, the origin of funds. These concepts overlap, but an identity check and a finding of wrongdoing are different things.
The Financial Action Task Force's recommendations set international standards that countries implement through their own frameworks. Recommendation 10 describes identification, verification and ongoing due diligence. It is background for understanding checks, not a document-upload instruction for a Nigerian betting account or proof of local permission to operate.
Read the operator's conditions separately
Sections 30 and 31 of the operator's published rules describe identity and address checks, additional documents and possible proof-of-funds requests. They also describe checks beyond initial registration. These are statements in the operator's document, not confirmation that every listed step applies to your account.
Read the conditions attached to the service where the account is held. Establish which company is making the request, which account it concerns and how that request can be confirmed within the service. A document carrying a familiar logo is not enough to establish the sender's identity.
This website does not publish a universal document checklist, an amount below which checks cannot occur, or a fixed approval deadline. It has not tested the current Nigerian upload form or obtained an account-verification decision. Ask for the requirements that apply to your own case rather than rely on a screenshot from another customer.
Confirm the recipient before sharing documents
If a request arrives through email, a message or a call, open the service through an independently checked route and confirm it there. Avoid following an unexpected attachment or upload link simply because it refers to a real account issue. Google's phishing guidance explains how deceptive messages can seek personal information and why a familiar sender name alone is unreliable.
Ask the operator to confirm the purpose of the request, the accepted documents, the intended recipient and the protected submission channel. If a detail seems excessive or unclear, ask for an explanation or an accepted alternative before sending it. Do not assume that a social-media profile, private messenger or email address copied from a forum is an authorised document channel.
For more on checking where a link or file comes from, use the source-safety checks. It cannot validate a specific request, but it explains checks that should happen before you trust an address. A secure-looking connection alone does not settle who operates the site.

Protect records without changing evidence
Never give an adviser your password, one-time login code, banking PIN or wallet recovery phrase. A request to pay a private individual for a guaranteed verification result is a reason to stop and confirm the request through the actual operator. No person contacting you through this website can promise account approval.
Use genuine information and documents that belong to you. Do not alter a document's facts or use another person's identity to satisfy a check. If you want to redact information, ask what redactions the recipient accepts first; do not guess and then represent an incomplete document as unchanged.
Keep a private record of what was requested, the channel you independently confirmed, what you submitted and the case reference. Avoid posting unredacted copies in a public complaint. Do not split payments, create extra accounts or change identities to try to avoid a check. If you think a document reached a false recipient, contact the affected bank, identity issuer or account provider through its own published channels to ask what protective action is appropriate.
Distinguish law, account terms and this website
The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit's FAQ addresses reporting entities and identifies categories of financial institutions and designated non-financial businesses and professions. It also explains that a suspicious-transaction report does not establish a person's guilt. A verification request by itself does not tell you whether such a report exists.
The duties of a regulated business, the conditions of a customer account and the role of this publisher must be assessed separately. This page is an explanation of sources and document safety; it does not claim that the publisher has completed a legal compliance assessment or holds the operator's licence. A company registration or overseas licence does not, by itself, establish permission for a particular service in your state.
If a request is connected with a pending withdrawal, ask for a written explanation of the outstanding requirement and keep the case reference. The support article helps you organise an enquiry. It does not give this publisher access to the account, authority to clear the check or power to release money. For a dispute about legal obligations or rights, seek advice suited to the applicable jurisdiction and facts.
Frequently asked questions
The request alone does not establish wrongdoing. Ask what information is required and how to provide it through a confirmed channel. This website cannot infer an investigation or a report to an authority from an account message.
No. This website does not receive or forward documents for operator verification. Confirm the request with the service holding the account. Sending sensitive material to a partner information website does not complete the operator's check.
This website makes no approval promise. Requirements and decisions depend on the applicable request and conditions. If the operator rejects a submission, ask which requirement remains unmet and what response is accepted; do not buy a claimed shortcut.
